Time to lay off him?
Not scoring but is adding a lot of effort at a time when we need a little grit. Have a feeling if he gets one, he'll go on a run.

Needs a goal. The effort was there today, really played a part. But he needs to put one away, even if it's off his arse.

I thought he was good today.
His movement and tracking back was exceptional

As long as it's not the same sort of run he takes during penalty taking.
Works hard, but when are we going to get an out & out goalscorer and not just another Carlton Cole?

Let's calm down a bit, he wasn't excellent. But it was an improvement on his first few games, his work rate was fantastic though, hopefully he kicks on from here and grabs himself a few goals soon.

Played well today but i don't think thats anything down to him , its more to do with the midfield finally giving him support rather than him having no west ham player with 20 yards of him when he gets the ball. Still think he'd thrive with another striker up front with him.

Re: Zaza

He's a striker obviously short of confidence but he proved a real handful today with his clever runs & effort
I too think once he scores he'll go on a run
I would never knock any of our players who puts in the effort that he did today
If he had the chances that Benteke had today he would probably have had a hat trick!

Better today but sakho is better and hence i expect him to go home at the end of his loan spell if we have any sense

Worked hard today but still a shit touch bouncing off him when needed to hold the ball, and when did have it in space held on to long. Really not showing 20m of value
It's no surprise to me that this determined performance today came from effectively out last season team +1 cos of injuries. All our signing sp far are not first 11. Simple

First rule of being out of form or struggling after a transfer - run your plums off and show honest endeavour
Fair play - he has done that today, keep that up and something will fall his way

Loads of effort, plenty of honest endeavour - just not a very good striker. Looking forward to seeing Sakho back.

A lot better from him today and was appreciated by the fans which he heard and understood.
Hopefully this spurs him on but he still looked lazy almost immediately after doing well.
